| Communion Set Mount Desert Island Historical Society Description: Bowl, two plates, four cups and a pitcher. Bowl, pitcher and cups marked, “I. Trask”. Trask was a pewterer of Beverly, Massachusetts from 1792 - 1847. The two plates are marked, “Calder”. He was a pewterer of Providence Rhode Island from 1825 - 1850. Given to the Somesville Union Meeting House by Nehemiah Kittredge. On August 19, 2009, these articles were photographed individually by Anne L. Welles. The pitcher is first, followed by the cups, bowl and plates. (see image management and click on the arrows to proceed through the pictures. Each item has two pictures of different views.) For the purposes of labeling in the archival room, the pitcher is 995-95-95a, the four cups are 95-95-95b, the bowl is 995-95-95c, and the two plates are 995-95-95d. [show more] |
