Two rods joined together by leather strap and rope. One rod was held while the other was swung in an arc and brought down on beans, peas etc. Donor info - used by donor’s father, Charles W. Kittredge, to beat out buckwheat and beans. Catalog record card indicates that this may have been donated in 1959.

Temple toggle iron. Handle wrapped with line and tar. Wooden toggle pin missing. Pin fits through spearhead. When lodged in whale the pin snapped, opening the blade so that it remained inside the skin.
