Note to Michael Macfarlan (owner of what was once Sam Hadlock’s home on Great Cranberry Island) from William and Sally Sturtevant, anthropologists at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and at Hunter College in NY, asking for further information on Samuel Hadlock, Jr. and the Eskimos he exhibited on his tour in Europe 1820-1825.
