Description: Settee consisting of a varnished wooden base, with two drawers, and an upholstered seat and back. There are two drawers in the base, each of which originally had two drop pulls. This settee now (2023) has 2 handles on the right drawer and none on the left. The blue upholstery on the seat and back is stained, and the wooden base shows sign of extensive wear. This settee is one of two and these appear in early photographs of the Fleet House. They are likely part of the original furnishings. The other settee is 2022X.02.009 [show more]
